Zortrax M200 Since i have a zortrax M200 cover and print mainly using ABS, 2 things are an issue: warping and ABS printing itself!
For that reason, i looked for a cover over the printer. Zortrax does sell it, but it is pretty expensive. Also there is a person that designed a nice one that can be 3d printed, but he's asking to much money for it.
So, i decided to design and print one myself. All the files etc. can be downloaded on this page, do with it what you like!
Design I constructed the whole thing in 3d software. The biggest thing to take into account is that i can't print the whole thing as 1 part, so it is divided in smaller parts that can be connected using M4 x 16 bolts and nuts.
Each part has centerpins so everything is aligned nicely.
The design facilitates 2mm thick acrylic glass which has to be cut so it fits in the back and sides.
The top is also acrylic glass, a simple rectangular shape that is held in place by the hinge. When the top is lifted, the hinge supports the plate.
The front is attached to the top plate with a simple 'piano hinge' that is either bolted or glued.

For filtering, i am attaching a HEPA filter to the right side of the cover using the tube. The left side hole i covered up using the plate.
I am in the process to create a bayonet coupler for a HEPA filter i found online: AEG hepa filter
Once that is finished an fits it will be added to the files list here!

The names tell you where the part has to go. All parts have to be printed only once, except the hinges, they should be printed 3 times. Also the blindplate could be printed twice.
Building To build the entire cover you will need acrylic glass (or as it's called here: plexiglas) of 2mm thickness.
The easiest way to get the shape for the sides is to print the parts, build at least one side and use that as a template. Then, add 1cm all around (the slots are 1cm deep) and cut the shape.
Once cut, split the side in half horizontally. You can then press the acrylic plate in the bottom part and fit the top part.
The back, top and front plates are simple rectangular shapes.
