3d printed cabinet spotlight mounts For lighting a display cabinet, i ordered some nice LED spotlights in china. So i can easily mount the spotlights, i made a simple but effective mountingpoint that attaches to the glass plates in the cabinet. They can also replace the usual dodgy clips for resting the glassplates on the pins.
That way, the mounts will be held firmly in place and give the glassplate a bit of protection at the same time!.

The spot i made it for (and are easy to find on aliexpress for instance):

The mount is oriented with the front side on the printing table, so no supports are needed. This will give the most strength to the connecting wall between the upper and lower flanges also.

To make things complete, there are actually 4 versions: 2 have a mount for the spotlight and 2 are just rests for the place. The ones with the mount are ofcourse used to screw the spotlight to. They do have a channel for the wire coming out to the side.
There is one for the left and one for the right corner.
The other 2 are also for the left and right corner, but only are rests for the glass plate. This way, the glass plate will stay level.

In some cases there is not much room for anything. For this i did make rests that allow for less gap between the glass and the rest. The lights cannot be mounted in this case because you need space for the cables to run up or down!.
I added them anyway so you can print nice decent rests for the glassplates. More often than not in the cheaper cabinets the glass plates are just resting directly on metal pins..
